CONVERSION AND EXPANSION OF ‘GOSPODA KRAKOWSKA’ [Restaurant and Hotel] / KOBIERNICE

Gospoda Krakowska is a building located in Kobiernice – at the intersection of major roads leading to Bielsko, Kraków and Żywiec. The existing complex of buildings consisted of a restaurant building and hotel facilities with a café.
The reconstruction and extension of the facility were aimed at functionally combining and unifying the masses of buildings constructed at different times.
The introduction of wooden elements on the façade was designed to refer to the highlander style of the building while maintaining it in a contemporary style.
The space under the suspended connector, intended for hotel rooms, was dedicated to the restaurant – space for the winter and summer gardens.
This space should ultimately be used for weddings, integration and similar events.
