LAGUNA BESKIDÓW / Zarzecze k. Żywca

Laguna Beskidów is a large apartment and commercial complex located on the shores of Lake Żywieckie.

The development's location, close to the lake and mountains, is undoubtedly a key advantage of the site, which we decided to utilize in the project. We designed six buildings with 427 apartments and commercial spaces. The low, three-story buildings blend into the surrounding landscape. Their location on the plot, perpendicular to the slope, the horizontal layout of the buildings, and the large distances between them allow for excellent views of the nearby water and Mount Żar.

The modern architecture also evokes elements of the region's traditional architecture. Contemporary solutions emphasize abundant glazing and facades decorated in light colors with accents of graphite and wooden lamellas. Historic elements are visible in the sharp lines of the roofs, which directly reflect the local architecture. Our design draws inspiration from the mountain resort architecture popular in this area, inspired by local culture and the atmosphere of Alpine resorts.
