MODERNISATION OF TENEMENT HOUSE ON LEGIONÓW 6 STREET [PRIMARY SCHOOL] / BIELSKO-BIAŁA

The tenement house built in a neoclassical spirit is a unique example of buildings built in the industrial era; their investors showed sophisticated construction and stylistic ambitions. The reconstruction project covered mapping of important elements on the facade, such as risalits and cornices, the entrance portal or the preservation of the old colour and shape of the window woodwork. Thanks to the use of smooth plasters, its historic nature is emphasised. Along the perimeter of the building, in its upper part there is glazing enriching the building with a modern architectural detail.
