HOUSE ON THE CZUPEL MOUNTAIN HILLSIDE / BIELSKO-BIAŁA

A building with a flat roof and a modernist pedigree is a part of the mountain hillside in Bielsko-Biała. The horizontal divisions make the house seem to be visually smaller, blending into the place. Its facades are actually reduced to the role of great frames of the landscape of the town below.

Owing to the flat roof the house obtains its modern form, which differs from the buildings in the neighbourhood, proving that houses with multi-hipped roofs are not the only solution in the mountainous area.
